More About Michael:
Michael graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Major in Psychology and a Minor in Biology. From there, he pursued his Masters of Science degree in Social Work with a specialization in education. While pursuing this degree, he spent two years working with children in two local middle schools. The students he worked with had emotional and/or behavioral difficulties, and he assisted them in functioning in diverse classroom settings and making positive behavior choices.
Michael then went on to graduate with a Masters in Education with a specialization in Special Education at Michigan State University. While completing this degree, he began working in Colorado Springs, Colorado as a Behavioral Specialist assisting in self-contained classrooms as well as completing behavioral plans and IEP's within two middle schools and an elementary school. It was with this district that he assisted teachers in helping students achieve academic success while dealing with multiple behavioral issues and learning difficulties.
Michael currently resides in Valparaiso, Indiana, where he is pursuing his Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology.
Michael is currently working towards his LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) and BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) certifications. His passion lies in helping others to overcome obstacles in order to achieve their goals and to live happy and healthy lives.
